This Privacy Policy explains how Hangr Private Limited ("Hangr", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal data when you access or use the Hangr Platform at hangrsolutions.com or hangr.tech, or interact with 3D product viewers powered by Hangr embedded on third-party storefronts.
This policy covers our websites and web platform. It does not cover any Hangr applications available through third-party platforms, which are subject to their own privacy disclosures.
1. Who We Are
Hangr is a B2B SaaS company incorporated in Singapore. We operate a platform that converts 2D product images into interactive 3D model viewers, enabling merchants to embed immersive product experiences on their online storefronts.
2. Who This Policy Applies To
Merchant Users — store owners and their team members who create a Hangr account and use the Platform.
Administrators — Merchant Users with elevated permissions who manage accounts, billing, and settings.
End Users — Visitors to storefronts who interact with 3D product viewers powered by Hangr. End Users are not direct customers of Hangr.
Website Visitors — Individuals who browse hangrsolutions.com or hangr.tech without creating an account.
3. Data We Collect
Data You Provide
Identity Data: first name, last name, business or company name, job title.
Contact Data: email address, phone number, billing address.
Financial Data: payment details (processed and stored by our payment processor; Hangr does not store raw card data).
Transaction Data: details of Subscriptions purchased, Credits purchased, and associated charges.
Customer Content: 2D product images and associated metadata you upload for 3D model generation.
Communications Data: messages you send us via email, chat, or support channels.
Data Collected Automatically
Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, time zone.
Usage Data: pages visited on our websites, features used in the Platform dashboard, session duration.
3D Viewer Interaction Data: anonymised and aggregated data on how End Users interact with 3D viewers embedded on merchant storefronts (e.g., viewer loads, rotation events, session duration). This data is linked to a merchant and product identifier — not to individual End Users.
Data From Third Parties
Payment Processor: payment confirmation and subscription status data.
4. How We Use Your Data
We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so. Our primary legal framework is the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). For users in other jurisdictions, we observe the additional rights described in Section 10.

5. Marketing
5.1 We will only send you marketing communications if you have opted in, or if you are an existing customer who has not opted out.
5.2 You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing legal@hangr.tech.
5.3 We will not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your express consent.
6. Sharing Your Data
We may share your personal data with:
Service Providers: third-party vendors who provide infrastructure, automated processing technology, payment processing, hosting, analytics, and customer support tooling. These providers process data only on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Professional Advisers: lawyers, accountants, and auditors, under confidentiality obligations.
Regulatory Authorities: where required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory direction.
Business Transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of Hangr's business.
We do not sell your personal data.
7. International Data Transfers
7.1 Your data may be stored and processed in Singapore and in other countries where our service providers operate.
7.2 Where data is transferred outside Singapore, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with the PDPA's cross-border transfer obligations and, where applicable, the requirements of other jurisdictions.
8. Data Security
8.1 We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure.
8.2 Access to personal data within Hangr is limited to personnel with a business need.
8.3 In the event of a data breach that poses a significant risk of harm, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable mandatory breach notification requirements.
9. Data Retention
9.1 We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including any applicable legal or accounting obligations.
9.2 Account data is generally retained for the duration of your relationship with Hangr and for a reasonable period thereafter.
9.3 Customer Content is retained for as long as your account is active. Following account termination, Customer Content is available for export for 30 days before deletion.
9.4 Aggregated and anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it does not constitute personal data.
10. Your Rights
All Users
Regardless of your location, you have the right to:
Access personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Withdraw consent for processing based on consent (e.g., marketing communications).
Singapore (PDPA)
Under the Singapore PDPA, you also have the right to request data portability where applicable.
European Union and UK Users (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are located in the EU or UK, you have additional rights including the right to erasure, restriction of processing, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California Users (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
